Advanced Stone Holder for Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust equipped with a linear ball-bearing offers a new level of precision and comfort. The advanced stone holder lets you achieve flawless results even with challenging tasks.

Universal Stone Holder allows using ANY rectangular sharpening stones:

6" Professional Precision Adjust diamonds and blanks
6" mounted stones (Edge Pro format-factor)
6" flat-end stones
4" mounted stones
4" flat-end stones

Note. It's very important to keep a sharpening angle consistent. The angle should not change when progressing to the next stone. If the thickness changes, the sharpening angle changes. Unchecked, this can ruin your sharpening. Use a digital angle gauge to monitor the sharpening angle when you replace a stone in the stone holder. Use the angle adjustment knob of the sharpener if necessary.

Terrible piece of junk. The screw on the end of the Worksharp PPA catches on the rod. Stay away and don’t waste your money like I did

Worked perfectly with the WPPA as well as my Venev stones! Get the full length of the stone no problem. Also, rides much smoother than the stock “stone holder” and is much more comfortable/controllable to use. Not one complaint with this.

Hi, I bought the Advanced Stone Holder with Linear Bearing for Hapstone RS and Work Sharp PPA with good expectations, but after owning & using it, I completely regret buying it. [I went to the Gritomatic website to return it today, but discovered that the return-window is 14 days, so I'm stuck with the thing]. Anyhow, the problem is, it has FAR MORE runout (axial slop) than the standard stoneholder. The standard stoneholder is a Swiss watch compared to this "upgraded" stoneholder. And if it's sloppy fit to the operating rod weren't bad enough, it's far less smooth in operation than the standard stoneholder. It's travel can best be described as "bumpy." There's something about how those caged ball-bearings interact with the operating rod that makes the stoneholder travel feel "bumpy" as you push and pull it. I love my hapstone RS, and I love my upgraded mast that controls the sharpening angle; they're superb in every aspect. But the upgraded stoneholder is in actuality a downgrade and a waste of money. You'll regret it if you buy it. Thank you for sharing some of your valuable time with me. All glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ, and no glory to us whatsoever!

This is much more comfortable than the original stone holder, without the wooden ball grip. Adjusts to fit 4”-6” stones. Fits the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust rod perfectly. I only wish that this had been available before I purchased the other stone holder.
