Description

Designed for mounting the standard K03 and Kadet clamps on the turning frame. Positioning the clamps with the adapter on the edges of the frame allows an increase effective length of the frame by 4cm. This extends the clamping options for knives with long blades or with thin and flexible blades. Positioning in the center allows you to replace a single clamp for sharpening the shortest blades.

Each of the adapters is milled from a single piece of aluminum alloy bar. The shape of the adapter follows the shape of the frame and blends in with the appearance of the sharpener. The hole for mounting to the clamp has an oval shape, for matching with clamps of any width.

The adapter is suitable for turning frames of K02 (produced in 2018), all versions of K03, and all versions of Kadet.

Customer Reviews

Izzac C.

In my opinion this L-adapter is a necessity. Any blade smaller than 3.5" will be unstable when clamped with the standard setup. The Pro should just come with them to start, honestly.

Randall P.

I would consider this a must have. With this you can place your clams in the center. It greatly increases the versatility you have in placing your clamp. It greatly helps being able to sharpen knives of different sizes and shapes.

Loyda R.

Have not used yet. Just so happy to see a small manufacturer have such high standards. The milling is like NASA.

Joseph R.

Works great

Keith S.

Great fit and finish.

Matt K.

These adapters work great on my K03 and allow me to sharpen smaller knives way more effectively than the stock setup. I think it’s a must have accessory that should have come with the sharpener. Get one!

William B.

Love the product. Essential accessory for the TSProf 03.

Baron P.

Works great on shorter blades

Curtis C.

Very well made, easy to install and work great on small to big knives on my Kadet pro

John B.

Outstanding design, if a bit large. Eagerly anticipating the other brands accomplishing the same thing in a different manner.

Randall S.

These adapters were exactly what I needed for my pocket knife collection. Centering the smaller blades does make a difference in the degree of sharpness.

MIke R.

They work great makes all my clamps more versatile

Jefferson H.

Worked out great to center the clamps for a pocket knife, or spread them out further for a machete or something... Something I've been wanting to do since i bought my K03..

Jeremiah M.

These are a MUST if you have a wide variety of different blade types. The machining is absolutely incredible.

Robert P.

These offset the clamps to the center for smaller knives or spread the clamps further than stock for larger knives

David P.

The L-Adapters is one of the items from Gritomatic that was worth the wait to finally find them in stock. A quality product that works great with all my small pocket knifes. Thanks!

Cris S.

The L adapters are a must. You can easily center smaller knives. Or use them to extend the width for Chef Knives or longer Machetes.

Diannia B.

This was a gift

GORDON H.

Must have option in my opinion! You now can center both knife clamps together for small knives and flip them over for longer large knives.

Ray T.

Very easy works Great knife blade is centered every time it flips Don't know why PS Prof didn't make it part of the kit

Great Products

John D.

Game changer. Allows numerous clamping options that wouldn’t be possible without them. I consider them a must have and worth every penny.

Jeremy Wheeler

Excellent Sharpener The TSProf L-Adapter is a very valuable accessory for the K03 or Kadet system. It allows you to clamp even the smallest blade while keeping it central to the pivot of the guide bar. I highly recommend this adapter.

Richard Kaya

A These adapters are a perfect solution for when you want to sharpen smaller knives without having to buy the specialized clamp for that purpose. It makes it possible to center both stock clamps together. So you have the centered clamp solution for a much lower price. I live in The Netherlands, Europe and the time between ordering and delivery was ridiculously fast. I have waited 4 days or so. Gritomatic rocks and so does the adapter set.

Leithan Schwartz

A little pricey but worth it They really do expand the usefulness of you Kadet and while a little pricey they are cheaper then any of the center holder set ups with the added bonus of being able to hold larger blades as well. They transform you stock holders into what would normally take three different sets of jaws. Well worth the money. https://youtu.be/xgfGKDlk_rs

Gregory Chadd

You need the adjustable height to go higher. Stock one does not go much beyond 20 degrees. Other than that nice product. Fits well

Douglas Tunno

Great quality

Michael Keller

Definitely a Plus for Kadet While pretty spendy, this is a real plus for the Kadet as it offers added versatility. Not so much with the K03 as they already have clamps that provide that versatility.

Tong Kim

Works great with the milled clamps to provide a very secure single center clamp for your knives. Works well and was very easy to install and use.

Derek Arita

Great addition to the lineup. It allows me to use my clamps close together or farther apart than the limits of the mounting bar. These adapters will come in very handy.

Michael Steele

L-Adapter I purchased this adapter for sharpening smaller pocket knives. Works perfect!!
