Bodrid Dressing Stone is a perfect tool to clean and refresh synthetic sharpening stones. During the sharpening process metal dust and degraded abrasive settle inside the sharpening stone. Stone surface becomes glazed and loose performance. Bodrid dressing stone can be used to remove thin top layer of poor abrasive.
Bodrid can be used to make slurry on ultra fine waterstones.
Bodrid is available in sizes.
- Product size for Large: 75 x 50 x 25mm (3" x 2" x 1")
- Product size for Small: 47 x 35 x 20mm (2" x 3/8" x ¾")
- Product size for Edge Pro: 150 x 25 x 10mm (6" x 1" x ½")
- Materials: Aluminum Oxide F1000 grit
Bodrid should be used with water. Make sure that both Bodrid and the sharpening stone are wet.
Use Bodrid dressing stone to clean synthetic sharpening stone in range F400 - F1000 grit (up to JIS 3000 grit).
